Trying to figure out my autumn schedule, with a dentist appointment, and classes with Sarah (intermediate DJ class) and Dave (acrylic painting).

Note to self: Get some work done!
Two of my contracts. Reminder to work on them. Also, some start and end times for practicing for a gig.
Research and Planning for my First Solo DJ Gig
Trying to figure out how to use my little Numark Mixtrack Pro II for a gig because the turntables and mixers I usually borrow were all going to be in use that night. Also, Serato fucks up bigtime if the screensaver comes on so I had to remember to make some adjustments to my laptop.
DJ Academy Homework: List of female DJs
Last winter (Feb / March 2015), I took the introductory DJ class at Mama Cutsworth’s DJ Academy for All Women. One of our homework assignments was to discover some women DJs we hadn’t previously known. I tried to find non-North American ones, and also ones who were not DJ / actress/ models with bikini PR shots.
Lists of music to check out
When I hear something I like, or when someone has a suggestion for me, I write it down for later consideration. The other handwriting is the bromate, who is trying to educate me out of house / techno / etc. into stuff more to his liking. And the top right is (mostly?) a list of artists who were playing at the Burr Oak stage at this year’s Folk Fest.
Zomby? Awesome. 🙂
List of stuff to take to a gig
This was for a gig I did at the end of June. Most of my gear is borrowed, so not only am I unfamiliar with it, but I am anxiously paranoid about anything happening to it. Also, forgetting something essential at home (the needles, say) would be a frikkin disaster!
List to Prep for a Gig
At the beginning of August. The gig list is a must (extra power bar and stuff like that). Also, very important to paint one’s nails before DJing.
